Yellow Pages Group Reminds Montreal Residents of Custom Delivery Program
Market Wire, July, 2010
Montreal residents have until August 1, 2010 to opt-out of receiving their 2010 Yellow Pages print directory, to be distributed in September. Through Yellow Pages Group’s (YPG) Custom Delivery Program, Montrealers can remove their names from the print directory delivery list.
“With one in two Canadians having consulted a print directory in the last month, the Yellow Pages directory remains a valuable search tool for finding local businesses and services. In many cases, it is also the main tool used by small and medium-sized businesses to reach their local audiences,” said Annie Marsolais, Director, Corporate and Marketing Communications for Yellow Pages Group.
“As some consumers prefer our Yellow Pages online and mobile search tools to find local businesses, we want to offer them the choice to choose in which format they wish to receive our directory content. Our Custom Delivery Program is all about offering Canadians more options to find local businesses, anywhere, anytime, through our multiple platforms, namely print, online or mobile,” continued Marsolais.
The content of Yellow Pages print directories is available online at YellowPages.ca and Canada411.ca or through new YellowPages.ca Blackberry, Apple iPhone, Apple iPad, Google Android and Palm Pre mobile device applications at www.yellowpages.ca/mobile .
Montreal households can easily opt-out of their Yellow Pages directory delivery for a two-year period or request a residential directory by completing the appropriate online form at www.ypg.com/delivery , or by contacting Yellow Pages Group’s Distribution Call Centre at 1-800-268-5637.
Residential directories for Montreal used to find personal phone numbers (commonly referred to as the “white pages”) are distributed separately from the Yellow Pages directories and are available only upon request as of earlier this year.
Environmental Commitment
In addition to addressing consumers’ evolving needs, the Custom Delivery Program is part of YPG’s commitment to the environment and the company’s participation in the Changing the World, One Step at a Time program developed by Quebec-based organisation, Equiterre.
YPG regularly encourages waste reduction and recycling efforts across Canada

New patterns of work organization are demanded, the nature and content of individual jobs is altered, the function and structure of work groups is subject to change, supervision systems are being renewed, responsibilities are shifted, and the management task adopts a new role.
Speaking generally, the major effect of computers, robots, and other new technologies on job design seems to be that the role of the human half of the partnership has changed, not that it has become less important. The new technology is creating a need for better-trained employees, in almost every case. The computerization of the banking industry has considerably expanded not diminished, teller training needs for example.
Because automation increase the need for skilled employees, research finds that the people who see automation as a threat to their job security tend to be skilled in opposition to those with higher skill levels. Employees with high skill levels react more favorably, seeing the situation as creating opportunities for them to expand their work skills.

In some cases, the spouse at home can receive more than half of the marital assets, particularly if his/her income falls below minimum levels.
If there is no spouse, in many states the individual requiring nursing home care is required to sign over his or her home to the state to reimburse Medicare. When the nursing home stay is not permanent, the Medicaid recipient is allowed to live in the house until death, but cannot pass it on to children or other heirs, because it actually belongs to the state, not to the individual.
Estate planning, particularly if it involves some sort of long-term care insurance, can alleviate or eliminate some of the worries associated with the potential for requiring nursing home care. Talk to your attorney or other estate planner about what can be done to protect your remaining assets if you have to go to a nursing home.

You can also have beach parties and give the beach towels away as gifts. This is a great and impressive way to thank your entire guest for coming and sharing this special occasion with you.
Beach towels can even be used in the colder months. If you go to a hotel that has a pool, you can take along your beach towel for a quick dip in the pool. You can also use your special beach towel at home for when you take a bath or get out of the shower. You can use this oversized towel to dry off with and then wrap yourself in so that you stay comfortable and cozy.
